Benefit Dinner

The Health and Human Rights Benefit Dinner is a special opportunity for you to meet and interact with our speakers in a more intimate setting. Guests will be seated at tables along with other speakers to discuss the topics of the conference over dinner. There will be mini-lectures and musical performances throughout the evening. It is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 6 in the East Common Room, Hart House - doors open at 6:30pm.

The proceeds from the dinner will be going to benefit two of our chosen beneficiaries for HHRights 2010: Journalists for Human Rights (Canada) and Community Transformers (Kenya).

The dinner is a buffet featuring an array of international dishes. We will be serving:
Cold Dishes
  • Carrot Salad (Indian)
  • Peruvian Style Potatoes (South American)
  • Beet with Goat Cheese and Walnuts (French)
  • Hot Dishes
  • Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas (Jamaican)
  • Pasta al Forno, Baked Pasta with Mushroom, Peas and Zucchini (Italian)
  • Cashew and Vegetable Stir Frey with Mock Chicken Strips (Asian)
  • Dessert
  • Roz Bel Laban (Middle Eastern Rice Pudding)

  • Seats are extremely limited for the Benefit Dinner and will be done on a first-come first-serve basis. Student registration is $30 and general registration is $40. To reserve your spot, please fill in and submit the form below. You will be taken to our Paypal page afterwards.
